Best Steak Ever!
Awesome Aussie beef at Grill Steak Seafood on Hardware Lane in Melbourne. I could have cut my 10+ ounce size porterhouse with my fork it was so tender.
Grill Steak Seafood advertises itself as a seafood/steak place, but it has a heavy Mediterranean influence over most of the dishes. Great options for the non-beef eater and a super selection of fine wines.
We started with their Rocket Pear Salad with Raspberry Basalmic Dressing which was fresh and bright. Sarah enjoyed her Forest Mushroom Risotto immensely. And the dessert was to die for.
The star of the show is definitely their fantastic, super tender porterhouse that was cooked to absolute just under medium rare perfection.
Don't know if it's the Australian cow or the atmosphere of the outdoor street setting (above left), but this is my favorite meal during our trip Down Under.
